We can all play a part in ending world hunger
The Foodgrains Bank engages Canadians in education and advocacy so they can better understand the extent and causes of world hunger and be inspired to respond. We encourage Canadians to get involved and be a voice for ending global hunger in four main ways: Give, Pray, Learn and Advocate.
If you are interested in having a speaker attend an event, classroom or worship service, please contact our public engagement staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or one of our regional representatives. We’d be happy to connect with you.
You’re invited to make a difference in another person’s life! Giving your time and financial resources is a practical way to respond to the needs of others and help people who are less fortunate. There are many ways to give a gift through the Foodgrains Bank.
Prayer expresses faith and hope, and moves us toward further action. The Foodgrains Bank creates resources to guide individuals, churches and communities through prayer and worship.
Think about what would inspire your community to create positive change. It usually begins with a learning experience or new awareness about an important issue. The Foodgrains Bank creates opportunities for groups to learn more about global hunger issues.
You can support our mission to end hunger by helping to influence national and international policies that affect people’s ability to access food. We’ll get you started by providing you with information and training on current advocacy campaigns of the Foodgrains Bank.
The Foodgrains Bank relies on volunteers to raise funds and awareness to help us offer assistance in developing countries. The regional representative in your area can help you determine where you can make the most meaningful contribution.
