More than 1,400 people have died as a result of the flash floods – a number that is expected to rise in coming days and weeks. 

Hundreds of thousands of people in Pakistan have been displaced by the floods, which caused catastrophic damage.  

Homes have been washed away, infrastructure is down and many farmers lost all of their crops right before the harvest.   

Food insecurity and malnutrition were already present in many regions of Pakistan. But now, the flooding is taking the situation from bad to worse.  

In times like this, we need to act fast.  

Emergency food aid must be provided as soon as possible. 

Our members and their locally-based partners are responding – they are there, ready to serve the most vulnerable people in need of emergency food assistance.
