About Shepherd…

Shepherd Tipo Telwia is from Northern Uganda. Shepherd is a Project Coordinator with the Church of Uganda – Nebbi Diocese. She has worked with World Renew and Foodgrains Bank funded programs where she facilitated trainings to empower women and build harmony in households. Through these programs, the lives of many families have been transformed: violence against the most vulnerable people has reduced in communities, women and men are more open to task sharing within households, and women are playing more significant roles in household decision making. She was also very involved in facilitating self-help groups like Village Savings and Loans programs, where women were equipped with financial management and problem-solving skills.
