Online Screening: Growing Her Future
You’re invited to the national, online launch of the short film Growing Her Future Saturday, March 6th at 12 Noon CST. This film is a virtual visit to the thriving farm and home of Asnakech Zema in southern Ethiopia. Growing Her Future shows what an amazing impact a little support can do to empower women like her and their families. The work she and her family have done to build soil fertility and improve crop diversity, storage and marketing, are increasing their resilience in the face of climate change and other crises, such as COVID-19.
Join us as we highlight ways in which we can support women small-scale farmers like Asnakech.
