Two exciting high school choirs in concert
- Saturday, Oct. 28, 7:00 pm at Douglas Mennonite Church, Winnipeg, MB
- Sunday, Oct 29, 3:00 pm at Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Winkler, MB
After a successful return to live concerts in 2022, Singin’ in the Grain is delighted to invite you back again this year to a live choral concert in support of Canadian Foodgrains Bank. Featured choirs are the Steinbach Regional Secondary School Chamber choir under the direction of Kristel Peters, and Westgate Mennonite Collegiate Concert Choir, directed by Vic Pankratz.
The Winnipeg concert is at the Douglas Mennonite Church at 7:00 PM on Saturday, October 28, and the southern Manitoba concert at Emmanuel Mennonite Church in Winkler at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 29. Please plan to join us at one of these concerts to be energized by great music performed by talented young people. The concerts are free, and you will be given an opportunity to support the work of Canadian Foodgrains Bank as it works to meet the needs of hungry people and improve food security around the world.
All donations from the concerts this year will go to the Mennonite Central Committee account at the Canadian Foodgrains Bank to support their work in countries in East Africa where people continue to experience severe food insecurity. Join us at the concerts where you’ll hear more information about the impact of this work.
Cheques can be made out to “Canadian Foodgrains Bank” with “Singing” in the memo line and mailed to:
