The project will provide in-kind food assistance during the 2021-22 lean season for 1,160 households (6,892 individuals) over seven months. The project will also provide agricultural inputs, training in conservation agriculture and vegetable farming, provide small livestock, establish savings and loans groups, and restore access to a community water source.

The project will provide gender and gender-based violence training for participants.
