ERDO is working with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Zimbabwe (PAOZ) in the Gutu and Zaka districts in southern Zimbabwe.
These communities are experiencing drought, hyperinflation, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The project will provide in-kind food assistance during the 2021-2022 lean season for 1,160 households over seven months (5,800 participants). The project will also provide agricultural inputs, training in conservation agriculture and vegetable farming, provide small livestock, establish savings and loans groups, and restore access to a community water source.
The project will provide gender and gender-based violence training for participants.
