We are deeply saddened to share with you that on Saturday April 10, Andre Visscher, our Alberta regional representative, passed away.
Andre had been with the Foodgrains Bank for 12 years and was a passionate and committed member of the team. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and care for those he worked with around the world, both during and prior to his work with Foodgrains. His loss was sudden and tragic and reminds us all of the fragility of life and the hope and anchor for our soul in the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Andre’s life was celebrated via a virtual ceremony on Friday, April 23. Our condolences are with his family and loved ones. We were privileged to take part in the ceremony and below is our contribution in remembering this:
