Our News

Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a partnership of 15 churches and church-based agencies working together to end global hunger.

We are currently recruiting for volunteer ambassadors across Canada to promote the work of the Foodgrains Bank through presentations to local churches, community groups, and schools, and to invite others to engage in the work of ending hunger. Ambassadors will represent the Foodgrains Bank in their local area and work closely with their regional representative and the supporter relations team.

Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a faith-based charity. Ambassadors must identify with and support our Christian mission and with our core values of compassion, equality, generosity, dignity, justice, peace, right to food, and right relationships.

Please review the volunteer ambassador job description here.

To apply, please submit a letter of interest along with a current resume to volunteer@foodgrainsbank.ca. Applications will be reviewed as received.

At the Foodgrains Bank we believe that a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace makes us a more relevant and effective organization and reflects our belief that all people are created equal and have a role to play in the mission of ending global hunger. We welcome applications from people from all backgrounds, ethnicities, and identities.
