Our News

During the season of Advent, we wait in hopeful anticipation for the joy of Christmas. We prepare a place for God’s promise of peace, both in our hearts and in our lives. We reflect on meaningful ways to share with those in need.

To help your church reflect on the importance of Jesus’ birth and what significance it has in our mission to end hunger, we’ve designed a set of Advent and Christmas resources, free for download.  In addition, many of our members also create Advent and Christmas resources for you to use. To make things easy, you’ll find a link to those resources here as well.

Advent and Christmas Worship Resource

Wrapped in the darkness of shorter days, Advent is a time for us to prepare for sharing the gift of hope that arrives with Jesus’ birth. We can also use this season to prepare a place for God’s promise of peace, both in our hearts and in our lives by reflecting on meaningful ways to share with those in need.
