Haiti Crisis

Haiti is a nation in crisis.

On Saturday, August 14th, a 7.2 magnitude quake struck, which has now claimed more than 2,200 lives and caused widespread destruction. Tropical Depression Grace has caused further damage and flooding, and the impact of COVID-19 along with ongoing political instability continue to compound the difficult situation Haiti faces.

Those who were already facing hunger in Haiti are now even more at risk.

As part of the Humanitarian Coalition, we are asking for your help.

Give today and help our partners on the ground serve the people of Haiti in their time of need.

World Renew Haiti country director Albert Dizon shares the urgent need for aid assistance in hard-hit areas:

Communication remains a challenge, phone lines are choppy and intermittent…more than 200 families in Gorgette alone lost their houses. The leaders reported to us that many families in their vicinity also lost their loved ones. The immediate need brought to our attention is water.”

Help our members and their local partners in Haiti serve people who are vulnerable to hunger right now.
