Sudan has become the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, emergency relief is needed as soon as possible.
Over half the population of Sudan (24.6 million people) are facing crisis levels of hunger, and 640,000 people are already experiencing famine-like conditions. The conflict has caused mass displacement within the country, and an additional 3.2 million people have fled to neighbouring countries seeking safety.
Your gift will provide the crucial support that is needed to prevent further loss of life and ensure necessities like food are accessible for people affected by the crisis in Sudan and neighbouring countries.

Who we are
Canadian Foodgrains Bank is made up of 15 Canadian churches and church-based agencies working together to end global hunger. Since 1983, we have come together in the belief that everyone is made in the image of God and it is God’s desire that no one should go hungry.
How we do it
These members partner with trusted locally-based organizations in developing countries to meet emergency food needs and achieve long-term solutions to hunger.
Working with local partners means they have an understanding of the communities, the culture, and the context, increasing the impact of our programs. These partners work to serve the most vulnerable people in their communities.
