Across Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe, climate change is making it harder for families to grow enough food. Through Nature+, your gift helps communities use nature-based solutions to restore landscapes and strengthen livelihoods and strengthen food security through locally led solutions. By the end of 2025, Nature+ had supported improved management of 30,871 hectares of land and helped plant 17.9 million trees.
Any funds raised above the intended goal will be used for other appeals.

Local Solutions for a Changing Climate
These photos show how Nature+ helps communities restore land and grow food in a changing climate, strengthening climate resilience and food security in Eastern and Southern Africa through nature-based solutions.
For many small-scale farmers, growing enough food is becoming more difficult. Unpredictable rainfall, droughts, floods, soil degradation, and biodiversity loss all affect the land that families rely on for food and income.
Nature+ responds to these challenges by helping communities use practical, locally adapted, approaches that improve food production, strengthen livelihoods, and restore the health of their landscapes.
With your support, we can help farmers and their families overcome the challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, unhealthy soils, and poverty.
Your contribution will help us train women and men to implement various nature-based solutions, such as conservation agriculture, improved water management, and integrated crop and livestock systems.
Together, communities are already seeing change
- 289,541 people reached as 77,994 participants share knowledge with their community.
- 52,038 farmers have adopted one or more climate change-adapted solution on their farms
- 991 community-based savings groups have been established or strengthened, with 27,155 members gaining access to loans for business and community development
- 17.9 million trees planted across severely degraded landscape
