Help us bring relief to families caught in conflict in the Middle East.
The situation in the Middle East is rapidly deteriorating. Conflict is forcing families to flee the safety of their homes, leaving them without food, stability, or basic necessities.
In this complex crisis, Canadian Foodgrains Bank’s focus is clear: to stand with the most vulnerable people caught in the crossfire of this conflict.
As a member of the Humanitarian Coalition, we are responding alongside 11 other Canadian agencies to provide emergency food assistance and life saving support to families in Lebanon and Syria, while closely monitoring needs across Afghanistan, Gaza, Iraq, Jordan, Türkiye, and the West Bank. In many of these places, Foodgrains Bank members and local partners have spent decades supporting vulnerable communities through emergency food assistance and long‑term agriculture and livelihood programs. This situation only adds additional strain to families who are already too familiar with the reality of hunger.
Our mission to end global hunger is critical in moments like these. Every person living through conflict deserves safety, dignity, and the ability to feed their family. Your support shows them that they are not alone and not forgotten.
Right now, your support can help a family make it through the hardest days of their lives. Join us in responding with love and compassion for our global neighbours.
Who we are:
Canadian Foodgrains Bank is made up of 15 Canadian churches and church-based agencies working together to end global hunger. Since 1983, we have come together in the belief that everyone is made in the image of God and it is God’s desire that no one should go hungry.
How do we do it?
These members partner with trusted locally-based organizations in developing countries to meet emergency food needs and achieve long-term solutions to hunger.
Working with local partners means they have an understanding of the communities, the culture, and the context, increasing the impact of our programs. These partners work to serve the most vulnerable people in their communities.
