Networking and Learning Event in Red Deer
Join us in Red Deer, AB for a fall networking and learning event for Canadian Foodgrains Bank volunteers, member staff and those of you who have been involved with us or participated in public engagement programs like Learning Tours, Hunger on the Hill, or growing projects. This will be a meaningful day to reconnect, learn, and take purposeful steps toward ending global hunger by learning more about our current public engagement activities and advocacy opportunities.
Hosted by Canadian Foodgrains Bank, Shepherd Tipo Telwia will be joining us from the Church of Uganda to give a keynote address. This gathering will explore how aid is making a real difference in communities around the world. You’ll hear inspiring stories, gain fresh insights, and discover ways to engage others in the mission to end global hunger.

Shepherd holds a bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, is a committed Christian and loves telling stories about the work she is doing to help people live free of hunger.
