More ways to donate

  • Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs)

To make a donation through an interact e-transfer, simply use the email address resfin@foodgrainsbank.ca. No security password is required as this email has been set to AUTODEPOSIT. Please make sure your address and email address are marked in the message section of the e-transfer so we can identify the donation in our bank record and email you your receipt. If you would like your donation deposited into the account of one of our members, please also note this in the message section.

If you would prefer a bank-to-bank transfer for larger donations, contact Tracey Stevens at tstevens@foodgrainsbank.ca for assistance in completing this request.

  • Monthly giving

You can set this up through your credit card or pre-authorized debit.

  • Planned giving

Through planned giving or a bequest/will, or a gift of farm land, you can leave a legacy to help many people who don’t have enough to eat. Click here to learn more.

  • Donate crop proceeds

Most grain elevators are registered to receive your donation and should have grain delivery tickets from the Foodgrains Bank on hand. How does this work? Simply call the grain elevator ahead of time to check if they can process your donation. Then, take your crop to the elevator, let them know how much you would like to donate and they will transfer the amount to the Foodgrains Bank. Tax receipts are issued to you from the Foodgrains Bank. Click here for more information.
