Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Canada and ADRA Yemen are partnering to provide a food assistance project to two districts in the Dhamar Governorate of Yemen.

Yemen continues to experience a protracted food crisis due to a combination of conflict, population displacement, economic instability, currency fluctuations, rising food prices, high dependence on imported food, climate change hazards, and sub-optimal access to basic services. Much of the country’s population is experiencing high levels of food insecurity, with the Utmah and Maghrib Ans regions classified at an IPC 3.

The project will provide 1,615 households (11,305 individuals) with commodity vouchers for 50kg wheat flour, 10kg rice, 4L vegetable oil, 2.5kg sugar, and 1kg salt per month for 8 months.
