Mennonite Central Committee is supporting Episcopal Church of South Sudan – South Sudanese Development & Relief Agency (SSUDRA) with a four-month food assistance project in Rubonka and Bentiu, Unity State.

Many people who originally fled Unity State due to conflict are now returning home.

However, long term conflict, unpredictable and poor rainfall performance, disrupted livelihoods, and continued displacement continues to plague the area.  Many families struggle to get enough to eat.

In response, SSUDRA is providing monthly rations of sorghum, beans, oil and salt to 800 households (3,300 people), including both recent returnees and those who stayed.
