Conflict and Migration: Angeline’s Story

This resource involves sharing a story about a child who fled conflict and now lives in a temporary shelter, and reflecting on wondering questions. There are two versions: one for a religious school or church environment and one for a secular school or environment.

Learning Objective: To have children reflect on conflict
and migration and relate to children around the world in
these circumstances.
Recommended Time: 5-10 minutes for story and wondering questions. Additional time needed for optional prayer and colouring activity.
Recommended Grade Level: Early childhood, preschool, early years. Ages 3-12.
