Canadian Foodgrains Bank is recruiting for a Senior Policy Advisor to join our public policy team to take responsibility for research and advocacy on humanitarian and food assistance policy issues, and to help maintain and strengthen the relationship between the Foodgrains Bank and the Canadian government.
The ideal candidate will bring a good knowledge of humanitarian assistance, food assistance, food security and public policy processes. Strong analytic thinking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and diplomacy and networking skills are essential for success in this role. English language fluency is required, and fluency in French is an asset. Staff in this position must support the underlying Christian dimension of the Foodgrains Bank and be able to articulate the relationship between a faith perspective and our work.
This position will be based in Ottawa, Canada. Frequent domestic and occasional international travel is required.

The salary range for this position is $57,453 – $71,817 per year.
