Canadian Foodgrains Bank is a partnership of 15 Canadian churches and church-based agencies working together to respond to global hunger. We are recruiting for a Regional Representative to join our Resources and Public Engagement Team.
Based in Ontario and working throughout the province and parts of Quebec, this position is responsible for supporting volunteers in community and church-run growing projects and other fundraising events, inviting communities, congregations, and individuals to support the Foodgrains Bank and its members, raising awareness of the issues that contribute to hunger, and liaising with donors, agribusiness and media.
This home-based position will require extensive in-province travel and occasional international travel. Good knowledge of the Ontario agriculture and church sectors, public speaking, networking and excellent communication skills are required for success in this role. Staff in this position are required to support the Christian motivation of the organization and be actively involved in a Christian faith community.
The salary-range for this full-time position is $60,156 – $75,195 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
