Canadian Foodgrains Bank is recruiting for an ACCOUNTANT to join a finance team of five who manage an annual budget of more than $45 million.
The accountant is responsible to the director of finance, will focus on the control of non-capital assets, administrative payables, grain donations, and special reporting, and will provide coverage for the other accountant when needed.
The ideal candidate will bring accounting proficiency to the role, with a minimum of five years directly related experience preferably in a non-profit environment, and will have their CPA or be pursuing designation. In addition to an applicable skill set, strong analytical skills, high accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to think logically, a service orientation, and the ability to work independently and responsively to diverse needs are essential for success in this role. English language fluency is required. Staff in this position must support our underlying mission and Christian motivation.

This position is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Salary range for this position is $60,156 – $75,195.
