Naushin's Story

Naushin lost her home and land in the floods that ravashed much of Pakistan. She received a food kit that allowed her, her husband, and her six children to rent a small space close to where their old house you to be. Canandian Foodgrains Bank communications officer, Emily Cain was able to sit with Naushin for an interview in November 2010.

The flooding that began in Pakistan in summer 2010 has devastated much of the country. Millions have been affected and have lost their homes and livelihoods. Fields have been washed away.
