This work falls into three main categories:
Through food assistance for people who are hungry because of crisis situations like war, drought, or floods, we help people survive what might otherwise be devastating loss. Learn more about our food assistance work here.
Through our agriculture and livelihoods programs, we help people provide food for themselves and their families in the longer term. Learn more about our agriculture & livelihoods work here.
Through our nutrition programs, we help reduce malnutrition in families through nutrition education, provision of clean water, and special feeding programs, with priority given to pregnant and nursing mothers, and children under the age of five. Learn more about our nutrition work here.
Our programs are implemented by our member agencies through their local partners in the developing world.
