A cheque for $1,350 was presented to Canadian Foodgrains Bank at the August 22 FEASTT (Fertilizer Efficiency and Strip Tillage Tour) in Drayton, Ont.
The event, sponsored by Clean Field Services, MK Martin and Alpine Plant Foods, showed corn and soybean growers new ways to increase crop yields and improve profitability through strip-tilled corn and soybeans, using various Alpine soil-applied and foliar-applied nutrient packages.
About 200 growers attended from across the province.
